This is a video blog of our visit to Patrick Olwell's shop in Massie's Mill, VA, where we did filming for the upcoming feature documentary on Patrick and his sons. There was music all day, every day, great stories, a trip to the swimming hole, delicious dinners and a mighty session at the end. I got the idea for this video from the movement of the music, it immediately brought the initial image of the slowly moving road to my mind. I went out and filmed that footage, then added some 8mm film footage, and some timelapse images as well.
