Underneath the politics there are families struggling to protect the same things that we in more stable countries take for granted; home and community.

This animation is part of a feature length documentary titled "The Road to Nahr Al Bared." Nahr Al Bared is a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon. In 2007 a conflict between a small group of militants and the Lebanese government left the camp in ruins. The documentary follows a handful of the 30,000 displaced people and their struggle to live in their situation.
