The Deutch/ish Feeling offers an insight into the lives of the working Turkish people living amongst the community of Kreuzberg in Berlin.
It explores the struggles of those living in a divided culture and how this may impact future generations.
The film is narrated by the director from a reflective outlook, revealing her own experiences of a split identity. It is a journey through the lives of four Turkish people who represents the minority of those living in Berlin.
Whilst the film appears to have a light hearted eastern vibe to it, the visuals act as a double entendre to support the feelings of the characters within the film
