Mark Making: I began by hacking a bump and turn toy car to make marks within a corralled field. After many iterations I proceeded to employ a remote control car with a variety of swing arms attached to the back bumper. This led me to devise small carriages with ball bearding wheels that held drawing utensils trailing from the bumper. The marks were less interesting at this point so I decided to set these carriages free in corralled spaces that custom build to fit my own vehicle. One of them took up the space of the trunk. Driving erratically in a vacant lot I created marks that were somewhat interesting but really, mostly fun to make.
