I wrote this poem some time ago. It reflects the thoughts of life...when we go through things we don't always know why but everything happens for a reason and most of the time it is to make us stronger.

Two poems from two brothers souls that come together in a great video.

As one of many inspired by the work of Steven Dempsey, I decided to try to do something along the same lines, JUST to see IF I could do it. I've made a start with a few clips, and realised that it might actually work. So i'm going to continue over the next few weeks, finding the right light and the right shots to complete the project.

I hope he sees this as merely a feeble attempt at flattery and accepts it as such.

The reason for this simple incomplete upload is to check out the output settings I just came across on the Everio Channel run by Chris (Project Overseer) To see if the same settings work from FCP as well as iMovie.

Shot on the excellent JVC GZHD7 at 1440CBR, Edited and graded in FCP on a MacBook Pro 233.

Music is From AR Rahman and Craig Armstrong, Elizabeth - The Golden Age. Brilliant music.

Another project combining poetry, music and images.

The poem is the work of my friend -- Selena Ibanez -- who is the queen of words. I must mention here, that she did this LIVE, just spilled the words out of nowhere. She's real gifted :)

My husband did the filming, as usual. He is so lovely, because he shot some of the footage specifically for the words in the poem. He put up with my pestering too ha ha ha.

I just did the music using Acid and put everything together in Vegas.
