Who would of thought setting up a show could be so much fun! We had a tremendous amount of help from lots and lots of people - we managed to get the last three prints up with people streaming in and we had such a great crowd of people that we had to have a gas leak to help thin it out a little... This is part 1 - part 2 coming laters

As we wont have any paper until Tuesday we have started looking at some of the other jobs that we need to do - the biggest being the stamping and numbering of the prints - thankfully Sophie and Jen have been kind enough to lend a hand today and they picked up on the great job that Danka had been doing on Day 7... We also bought the wood that we'll use to build the shop and checked that we had all of the artwork ready!

All hands on deck today - lots of help from lots of amazing people - Yann (Hand Wash Studio) came in and ended up printing for nearly 24 hours straight - we managed to run out of ink; which dovetailed nicely with running out of paper - however Patrick (Partly Civil) finished the illustration of Alice Gun on the trace (which looks amazing). edition / power in numbers
we are putting on a screenprinting show at Bodhi Gallery in East London. We have selected 40 artists (out of 450 submissions) and we are printing an edition of 50 of each artist. We are putting the show on with Print Club London (printclublondon.com) where the 'the making of' stop frame animations are filmed.
The show's private view is the 7th of May 2009 - and it runs until the 27th of May 2009.
