Sun, a hard beach and a solid 18 knots wind on Rømø. All ingredients were there to try an beat my personal best speed on the landboard. Weapons of choice were a Frenzy FYX 13m² and the super stable Scrub Quasar II. This resulted in a new personal best of 53.5 km/h.

This is an impression of two snowkite sessions organised by forest7.org. This is what winter 2010 was like in the south of the Netherlands and in Belgium: good snow, not a lot of wind but bucketloads of good time.
A super sunday on the IJmuiderslag beach with a solid 17 knots west wind and sun. Under those conditions you will find freeriders enjoying themselves and trying to get at warp speed and freestylers showing their tricks high in the air. And many smiles ;).
A cold session at zone 1 at IJmuiden beach. This is what you get when 4 Ozone addicts get together. This is not about a lot of freestyle action but a lot of fun!
Our first snowkiting experience. First we had no wind so everybody was fooling around. And at the scarce moments with wind, we were so busy practicing that there was no time to film ourselves. Later we took a break and we saw SnaB ripping on his (big!) Blade and Peter took my Frenzy 13m² to give it a go. He seemed to really enjoy it.
Blue skies, sun and a soft westerly breeze at Wijk aan Zee. At the end of the day, the wind got stronger and it was time to get off the beach towel and enjoy some mellow cruisin'. The kids were progressing: Mikel is getting used to riding and Aimar is making his first runs on the MTB (without kite). The parents try to keep up with the youngsters: Ard is doing some heelside-to-heelside sliding turns and Ines had her second ride. A perfect Indian Summer…
We went away for the weekend to the beautiful coast of Breskens in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. There we were alone on the beach with sun and ample wind. Perfect conditions for Inés to make her first ride on the mountainboard.
