This is the first in a series of screencast videos exploring the use of the new version of Artemis, a program for EXAFS data analysis using Feff and Ifeffit. In this video, I demonstrate how to import chi(k) data and crystal structure data.
This is the first in a series of screencast videos exploring the use of the new version of Artemis, a program for EXAFS data analysis using Feff and Ifeffit. In this video, I demonstrate how to import chi(k) data and crystal structure data.
In this screencast video, I demonstrate how to run the Atoms and Feff interfaces in Artemis and show off an ability to plot Feff paths even before associating paths with a Data set.
In this screencast, I demonstrate how to perform a simple first shell fit to data from a gold foil. In this example, I show how to set up a simple set of fitting parameters and how to perform a fit. After the fit finishes, we take a look at some plots and examine the log file.
In this example, we see how to manage large numbers of paths at a time. A fit is performed to the gold foils data using several paths extending out to almost 6 Angstroms and including single and multiple scattering paths out to the distance of the fourth coordination shell.
This is the first of two videos explaining the use of Artemis' plotting system. Here I demonstrate all the basic plotting features -- including plotting spaces, k-weighting, stacking, inverting, indicators, and plotting paths -- using an example of a real data analysis project.
Educational videos and screencasts for those learning about the measurement and analysis of X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy data. Many videos in this channel are about Feff and Ifeffit and the GUIs which use them, Athena and Artemis.
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
