PROUDRACE S/S 2012
This past year I was given the opportunity to become the Creative Director
at COMUNE, I took on this role in addition to my on going position as Sr.
Designer. With the added stress and responsibilities that come with both
positions everything in my life needed to become more streamlined and
efficient. These tendencies carried over into much of my design
inspiration for A/W 2012. While functionality and style have always been
a huge part of COMUNE…
20 years ago I saw a scene from a film that still captivates me to this day, and it is the reason I became a filmmaker (its the rocket scene from Koyaanisqatsi). The water scene in this art/fashion film is my tribute to it: vimeo.com/42809211
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
