Strange Talk are fast becoming Melbourne's newest indie pop favourites with their catchy, upbeat synth beats that has drawn the band comparisons to Phoenix, Cut Copy, Yeasayer and Passion Pit.

Strange Talk was born out of the odd mix of classically trained violinist Stephen Docker, now their vocalist, and their bassist, the electro/house influenced Gerard Sidhu. Joined by Travis Constable on drums and guitarist Gillan Gregory the band was able to work with UK producer Eliot James (Two Door Cinema Club, Bloc Party), on their first single, Climbing Walls, which was picked up by Triple J.

Strange Talk won Triple J Radio’s band competition to play at last year's Parklife Melbourne music festival. Catch Strange Talk at their EP Launch at the Northcote Social Club at the 6th of May 2011.

Strange Talk are:
Vocals - Stephen Docker
