FESTinVAN the PROJECT

Mosaico Produzioni srl and TARAS PICTURES present FESTinVAN, a new TV format and an ambitious multimedia project.

FESTinVAN is the ‘road docu-serial’ realised around Europe on board a van set up as a mobile production unit. It focuses on different sorts of festivals - music, design, cinema, visual arts, fashion - in order to report the events, their protagonists and their hosting cities and to describe the dynamics generated by so far-reaching international events.
Videos, photos, unconventional interviews with the artists and the people involved in the festivals, together with a panoramic of the best known places of the cities as well as their unknown spots, make out of FESTinVAN the original reportage for those who want to experience these events from an alternative perspective!
FESTinVAN will be in Barcelona from 18 to 20 June 2009, ready to start with Sonar 09 - International Festival of Advanced Music and Multimedia Art...stay tuned!

FESTinVAN e’ un “docu-serial itinerante” realizzato da 4 ragazzi (1videomaker, 1photo-graphic,1editor, 1interviewer) in giro per l’europa a bordo di una furgoneta, allestita ad hoc come unit´mobile di produzione, Fausto the Van! FESTinVAN nasce con l’intento di coprire mediaticamente festival di vario genere (musica, design, cinema, visual art, moda), per raccontare gli eventi, i suoi protagonisti, gli artisti, le città che li ospitano, e descrivere le dinamiche innescate da eventi culturali di portata internazionale.
