These are my films.
and...
For over a decade I have been a member of the Seattle-based performance company, Degenerate Art Ensemble, documenting their live performances, rehearsals, and tours. An art exhibition that features our works along with my documentation and installation videos opened to the public at the Frye Art Museum in Seattle in 2011. The project entitled "Red Shoes" which was part of the exhibition, brought me and the group to Robert Wilson's Watermill Center in the spring for a 2 week artist residency. Still an active member of the group, this year we take on Philip Glass' remake of "Einstein on the Beach" and Seattle Center's "The Next Fifty" project.
In other past projects I've co-directed, filmed, sound-designed and edited the experimental short film The Silvering Path, which featured dancer Haruko Nishimura and showcases the costumes of fiber artist Mandy Greer. Created short films for Bellevue Arts Museum, and artists Susie J. Lee, Deborah Valoma, Garrett Fisher, Etsuko Ichikawa, Mandy Greer and Helen Hiebert, and I continue to produce videos for Seattle Theatre Group, the non-profit organization that operates the Moore and Paramount theaters.
Currently based in Portland, Oregon I along with fellow filmmaker, Seattle-based Ryan K. Adams have a production company called Block My Eye Films.
