In October 2012 Company E brings together some of the finest choreographers who call or have called Spain home. Together in partnership with the Embassy of Spain in Washington, DC, the Washington Performing Arts Society and the Shakespeare Theatre Company, Company E premieres its season with NEXT: SPAIN.

Deep in the secluded Amazon Nature Reserve of the Tambopata Maidi Wilderness in South Eastern Peru, in a camp without electricity Company E was given unique permission to film and to dance. The results of the journey up-river, of dawn walks to a warm lake in deep rain, of tiny tree frogs and hand-fed tamarind monkeys was a simple set of steps and movement inspired by the moment.
