Quadratura was the technique used in the baroque to extended architecture through trompe l’oeil and perspective constructions generated with paint or sculpture.
The site-specific installation presented at Matadero Madrid follows the same principles but manipulating space by means of projected light. The main axis of the room of Abierto x Obras is extended and the limits of the physical space dissolved.

SAQ with Florian Licht
bbass is a minimalist and enchanting installation which combines projected light with graphic animation, architecture and sound. This installation takes shape through light and sound. It tries to turn the main auditorium into an abstract space: the artwork plays with the audience and questions the visitors’ relationship with the space.

"Sculpture of light" is an installation composed of volumetric modules that are strengthened, denied and reconstructed using light projections that interact with the music and the audience.
By mapping the structure on which 3D images are projected, they interact realistically with each object point, matching the geometry of the facade with the projected video, playing with the deformation, transformation, and upheaval the illusion of reality .
The result is a captivating spectacle, where the architecture comes to life, creating scenarios and stunning visual performances, interacting in real time with sound and movement of people in the room.
