A stop motion short film shot with a stills camera in the ceiling pointing straight at the floor. There's tons of 'making of' stuff at the website http://www.sorry-im-late.com

Had a Chance to Shadow Philip Bloom from http://philipbloom.co.uk this past weekend at Joshua Tree park in california. I Had been really looking forward to watch a pro at work while shooting a real project. He has been hired by Panasonic to make them a nice little short to show at the European press launch of the GH1 on May 21st at Panasonic HQ.
Illya Friedman of http://hotrodcameras.com/ joined up with Phil with his brand new prototype PL mount adaptor for cinemas lenses so you can actually put them onto this little camera! Also along for the ride were Jake Carpenter from http://www.jakecarp.com and David Aldrich who makes the $100 follow focus found at http://designbydave.net/
Had loads of fun with the guys mostly talking good old geek tech talk and making fun of each other.
Philip blogs about it in his site here: http://philipbloom.co.uk/2009/05/12/panasonic-lumix-gh1-in-joshua-tree-and-pl-lenses/#more-2953
Shot all of this using my new HF-s10 and the New JAG35st static 35mm…
"Life Buoy" - vimeo.com/13782452 - is a stop-motion animation I made for the song with the same name by the band "The Pixels".
Hope you like it and post it on the "Fernando Menéndez Carbone" video channel. Thanks!
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
