FREENETWORLD INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL - october 2011.
This is MENTAL HEALTH singer / songwriter / guitarist Simon Le Boggit's first "proper" animation (he did once stick Sarah Palin's head onto Betty Boop's body, but isn't sure that counts).
It's a no-budget video created using CGI animation software and models, whose creators have generously made available for use by the public. Massive thanks to all of them, scattered all over the world - without their work, talent, and generosity, this video would never have been possible. This video was a truly global effort. (Their long list of credits will be available very soon - sorry for the delay)
If you fancy hearing a bit more healthily mental stuff, check out MENTAL HEALTH's MySpace page at:

This is an abstract, experimental piece, recently screened at the london portobello film festival and British Shorts in Berlin.
'The setting sun plays with our eyes, as words appear,
as whispers do, bits and pieces, a syllable here and
there. Harmonica establishes itself; a foot tapping jive.
The viewer is visually ‘poles apart’ from any narrative
suggestion, yet within the sound the poem reveals
itself - a puzzle solved'.
A man is preparing breakfast for his wife... a morbid situation? Not really... but who knows what is hidden inside the mind of a man? Who really knows the "anatomy of hate"?
Selected entry for Art By Chance 10. This years theme was Time. www.artbychance.org
We're also delighted to say this was selected for the Eat My Shorts Festival
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
