People in African nations have abundant physical needs, and as we minister to those needs they must hear about Jesus Christ, the ultimate answer to their eternal need. The plan for reaching East and Southern Africa includes planting churches in urban areas, discipling new Christians, and developing leaders who can help spread the gospel of Christ to the entire continent.
Geographically the region of South Asia is only half the size of the U.S. but almost 25% of the world’s population lives here. It is a difficult place for the Church because there is much opposition to the gospel although more than 16,000 people accepted Christ as savior last year. They are finding hope in a God that is personally interested in them and they are learning how to their lives can bring glory to Him.
Foursquare pastors and leaders have prayed for breakthrough and we are beginning to see it come to pass in the Caribbean. Three new churches were planted last year in Puerto Rico, a nation that has not seen one new church birthed in 40 years. People are being transformed for Christ in Haiti, Grenada, Trinidad, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and in additional countries newly opened to The Foursquare Church.
God is shaking the nations and people are coming to North America from every other part of the world. Canada and the United States are “the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8) for missionaries from other countries who are following the call of God to reach their world for God. Mexico has never experienced a large-scale evangelical revival and our combined, profound prayer is needed asking the Holy Spirit to accomplish His work there.

In the past year, 2,500 Foursquare pastors have been trained to minister healing and the Baptism with the Holy Spirit among the people they lead. In this regional update, Area Missionary Paul Otremba says the training is causing significant growth in Foursquare churches throughout Latin America.
