Students in the FSDB Blind Department sing an impromptu a cappella version of the songs "Over the Mountain" and "Rain" during lunch time.
Fourth grade Deaf Elementary School students Cassidy Dainty, Nikayla Merced, Zaniesha Williams, and Olivia Brown worked cooperatively in the dorm to learn "The Cup Song." They learned the moves and practiced their timing until they perfected the song. The students then approached Assistant Principal Heidi Jordan and asked permission to share the presentation with all of the Deaf Elementary students. During a beautiful fall day, they showed their "Cup Song" to the the staff and students of Deaf Elementary School. The four girls were proud of their performance, and talked about the importance of cooperation and working together when learning new skills. This was not only a fun performance to watch, but the girls turned it in to a learning experience for the youngest Deaf Elementary School students.
