The Problem with Crime - Short Film (2.5min) Featuring Clayton Jacobson ("Kenny")

The Problem with Crime - short film. Approx 2 min. I made this film around 2000 It was really to test out an idea I had for recording sound with lapel microphones and mini-disk recorders (just new at the time) attached to the actors bodies. Shot on my vintage Beaulieu 16mm camera, Partly why the camera stays locked off at a distance is so that you cannot hear the camera's motor through the mics. But also, I kind of like it that way. Okay... finally a film of mine which utilizes the novelty of 'editing'... I made this around 1998, I think. Again shot on my Beaulieu R16, with my wide Angenioux lens -I think 16 or 18mm- so wide it has no focusing ring. This film gives you an idea of how solid the Beaulieu R16 camera is. Also, sound-wise it only went out of sync by a few frames over the course of a roll of film. I reckon my shooting ratio on this would be 1:1.3 (I used about 70-80%

Background
Funkuncle Entertainment pounded the media landscape last year with several mind bombs, basically turning the ratings period upside down.
Our Film, Television and Publishing arms are all highly regarded, especially during Spring when we have the media baseball match and in summer when we have some big parties and the office girls tend get drunk and take off their dresses and shout “Holy shit, give me a raise you old scumbag can’t you see I have the tits of Venus!” For more information see links below.
