Damplifly was a sound environment by Johannes Bergmark, Luc Kerléo and Tippi Tillvind exhibited at OKNO festival in Szczecin, poland in November, 2008. Venue: Muzeum Narodowe w Szczecinie, ul. Staromłyńska 27 (Museum of Contemporary art) at ul. Staromłyńska 27.
This is my part of it.
“This group of musicians, sculptors and performers prepared an interactive sound environment especially for the OKNO Festival, available for the audience all the time during the festival.
Their point of departure is curiosity for experiencing the sonic possibilities: of objects and space and our relation to them, matter and lack of it and the work of our imagination upon it. NOTE: NECESSARY TO USE HEADPHONES OR GOOD SPEAKERS TO HEAR THE LOW FREQUENCIES!
The title is pretty descriptive. This is my premiere of the piece at ANALOGISK AFTON!, organized by VEMS at Fylkingen, Stockholm Nov 5th, 2011. More info at http://fylkingen.se/node/1500 Camera: Joakim Roséen. (There's another camera angle that I will use to make a new edit to upload sometime, but there's a technical problem that will take time, so enjoy this until then!) Johannes Bergmark
Talk on Classical EAM
given by Lars-Gunnar Bodin
at Fylkingen 2012-04-05
The talk focuses on four electro acoustical works:
* Mobile (1972) by Eugeniusz Rudnik
* Hendrix Haze (1983) by Alejandro Viñao
* Solitaire (1969) by Arne Nordheim
* Gesang der Jünglinge (1956) by Karlheinz Stockhausen
and ends with a discussion neoformalism and reminiscences of EMS in the 1960:th. All in Swedish. The musical pieces themselves are not featured in the video.
Shot on RED Scarlet in 3K, cropped to 1080p and downscaled to 720p for Vimeo. My skill as an operator, still basically sucks, so the result is, let's say, variable. The talk itself, is IMHO highly spirited. :^)
Enjoy
