Go-Kustom TV was created by recording artist & film maker, D.A. Sebasstian in early 2002. The show focused on Northwest Music & Kustom Kulture and was broadcast on Seattle Community Access Network (SCAN) channels 29 and 77 through out most of the King County cable system (over 500,000 consistent viewers monthly).
By the third episode of Season 1, Betty X had joined Go-Kustom TV as hostess. The show continued to grow in popularity and included interviews with the bands Texylvania and Cookie bassist and lead singer Sabrina Rockarena. Late in 2002 Lindsay Calkins joined Go-Kustom TV as the new Hostess. She brought her own unique flavor to GK TV, with an easily recognizable smile and outgoing personality. Besides many bands, Lindsay interviewed Gearheads at various Car Shows, Burlesque Performers, Pin-Up Photographers, Artists and Film Makers.
Go-Kustom TV ran 4 consecutive Seasons on cable before Sebasstian decided to concentrate full time on film making. After releasing Hot Rod Girls Save The World in 2008 and Rat Rod Rockers! in 2011, he decided to re-boot Go-Kustom TV. This was in conjunction with filming his newest documentary Rats & Gassers: Kustom Kulture Takes A Ride. According to Sebasstian this was a natural decision as not all the footage he filmed during the 2012 car show year would fit into the Rats & Gassers film concept.
Pin-Up Starlett Kitty Mansfield joined Go-Kustom TV as the new Hostess for 2012. She has graced numerous magazine covers and been featured in dozens of magazine articles. Plans for the re-booted show include finding new commercial outlets to broadcast the invigorated high definition content, through both internet and conventional network syndication.
