We launched a competition towards the beginning of the "13 days of Gowalla Tools Christmas" for people to submit videos of themselves singing a rewritten version of "The 12 days of Christmas". The videos would then be mashed up into a single song with a prize going to the best video as judged by my good self. The prize? A Gowalla Tools iPod Shuffle!

UPDATE: When we said "next week" and "February" that was before some massive changes to Gowalla which included a new API (that was fairly cut down to what we had been using) and the blocking of certain functionality we'd been planning. We've sent our trusty Guinea Pig (named "Ichabod") to the North Pole to help Santa with his Christmas Eve deliveries. He'll be checking in at various spots across the world so make sure you follow him at http://gowalla.com/users/santa
He should leave the north pole at around 9AM GMT (4AM EST) on 24th December and then check-in at his first spot shortly afterwards...

Today is a special fun day so I've made a quick mashup game of PackRat and Gowalla - via a simple bookmarklet, you can flip over the stamps on the Gowalla webpage to collect my very own currency; the Guinea! I won't tell you what these are for yet but you'll want to start collecting....
