Saturday 4 februari 2012, was a cold but beautiful day. At 07:15 in the morning it was -18 degrees Celcius. The first shots were taken with these temperatures near the city Kampen in the Netherlands. Very cold but also a great spectacle with beautiful colors and fog. Later that day it was very bright and clear with awesome white landscapes.

We headed back to Shaw's Cove in Laguna Beach with hopes of exploring some of the channels and swim-throughs. Conditions were decent enough for us to get into a few of them before having to turn back. We spent the rest of the dive exploring the outer reef and kelp.

It was a peaceful and beautiful morning with great colours and fog. Three people let down a boat in the water and so I made these images…. with all kind of associations and feelings.
