As the 2011 season at Highland Mountain Bike Park comes to a close, we look back on an amazing season on the hill. The year flew by with a jam packed schedule of events, races, camps, and countless days of riding. The Highland crew was hard at work all season long bringing new trails and features to the mountain for everyone to enjoy!

Following the first Overmountain Enduro Race, Highland fired up the generators and rented flood lights so riders could partake in a twlight jam on the infamous Freebird jump on the Killicrankie slopestyle course!
As usual, the Highland Mountain Bike Park trail crew is always on the move creating new and exciting trails for everyone to enjoy. The latest addition, Pour Hour, gives riders a chance for some extended air time with a wooden curved wallride, a fade away cannon-style lauch, and some BIG table tops at the end.

Highland Mountain Bike Park hosted its annual Brodown Showdown dirt jump jam with many of the areas dirt jumpers in attendance to shred Highland's extensive dirt jump park. In addition to the jump jam, Highland hosted a "Best Whip" contest off the Killiecrankie Slopestyle jump "Freebird"
