This challenge came about after a few too many drinks at Christmas in 2008. After Geoff put a motor from a broken RC helicopter in a small plastic boat, Geoff, Ted & Warwick discussed how cool it would be to put a whipper snipper motor into an RC boat. Rules were devised and over the next 12 months, 4 boats powered by "second hand" whipper snippers, less than 1.5 metres long and radio controlled were completed... Biggest hobby expo/show in Europe, as you can see it cover everything from stand models to big RC turbine helis. This was really fun week flying with Deutche Modell flieger verband team. Looking forward for 2010 show!
