The beer ended up tasting lemon-y, which we later found out was due to contamination. Cleanliness is next to Godliness, and this applies doubly so to beer making.

I am growing barley in my yard with the plan to eventually make beer from it.

I'm photographing the plot every morning all summer to create a timelapse of the growth and eventual ripening, then probably the process of malting, mashing, brewing, etc.

This short clip shows the first 40 days, which might be the most dramatic portion. Wish I could onion skin to line up the shots perfectly.
