Finally! a video update on the house. This covers from last October until now (March). There was a good bit of stuff I didn't get on video but at least I'm all caught up now :) I'm so grateful for siblings' and friends' help, and especially Dad's. If you ever want to make a lot of memories, build a house.

Looking at the concrete foundation for the new house, and indulging in a little emotional reflection. Things are off to a great start though! I tried going into more detail about how everything is done but I'm not sure I can really pull this off as a "how to" show. I'll continue to tell the story with in general terms and with more humour. Music is from the "How Crayons Are Made" segment on the old Sesame Street, and a little Yo Yo.

After two months of inactivity (not to mention more than a year of total waiting), the house finally came down! A bunch of us had some fizzy drinks to celebrate. Alonso Hawk would have been proud. This is likely to be the single biggest visible progress made on this project in one day. The first song playing in the background was actually on MPR at the time this video was taken. Both are by the Empire Brass.

This was turning out to be fairly educational until...well, until it got DEADLY. Sorry about the title...I haven't ever actually seen that movie but I understand that "Blair XYZ Project" efficiently evokes low-budget horror, which this is.
