A Danish building project can really make dreams come true. The key to this is a Danish clay brick machine that can press and produce 180 bricks an hour. These bricks are made with a strong hydraulic pressure and are NOT “fired” in an oven afterwards as, these bricks are simply ready for building.
A small modern house of 50 square meters resembles the types of houses we know from Denmark but without the cement. This is a great advantage for the environment. Windows, doors, electricity and water sanitations can also be added.
A Pilot Project is underway with a clay brick machine in the 2 villages of Appraponso and Bomba. These 2 villages are situated in the rural area of Western Ghana. The first house was “ceremoniously” opened on the 18th. July 2011 and is going to be used as a clinic in connection with a school. A close cooperation has been established with the Takoradi Technical Institute regarding the next 5 years in aiming to create 2.000 villages where 10.000 clay brick houses…

Dear snow enthusiastic world,
Whichever mountain you call home, whether you snowboard or ski, I would offer that we are all apart of a community and that this community is special. We share a passion, and this passion unites us.
While my home mountain is Stevens Pass, and I can only share with you from my own experiences, I hope you will find something in my work that reminds you of your home community, and what makes it special to you. For me, it's being surrounded by people living their lives as full of joy as they are able, amazing terrain, and of course, powder.
In this webisode, the Hot Lava boys talk about the season so far and introduce a couple of friends, followed by everyones favorite - POWDER RIDING!!!
If you didn't already know you were apart of it;
Welcome to the COMMUNITY.
Sincerely,
Cory Rain
This January we took a weekend retreat with friends to an awesome cabin in the Georgia woods.
I took my GoPro and my Canon 5D with me hoping to spend some time shooting time lapse sequences. I had also just finished converting a kitchen egg timer into a time lapse panning device for the GoPro. Here's a short sequence I put together using FCPX.
Thanks for adding my video to your channel. I'll see what else I have that may interest you. And when I'm out & about I'll look for more suitable subjects. I'm off to Fiji in May so I'm sure I can find some interesting beach huts there.
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
