testing projection mapping with "Journey" prototype box.
every slide is a memory of a place or object
each has a unique pattern of teeth on the bottom
this pattern is read when you put the slide into the box
a projector can then paint animations onto the slides
the animation is contextual to the slide and the rest of the scene
this way you can build up a picture of your own memory

The making of a ground breaking new skateboard ramp installation by ENESS. Created for the Premiere of Tron Legacy in Melbourne, Australia.
Our custom built software allows us to 3d map the
ramp and track the skateboards in real-time. Each rider is equipped with an iPod Touch to measure air time and trigger effects, IR Lights and camera is used to track the skater’s position.

Old-time skaters ENESS jumped at the chance to bring skateboarding into the future by blending interactivity and high-tech mastery for the Tron Legacy premiere.
Each rider is equipped with an ipod and our custom-built app to measure their air time and trigger graphics whilst in the air and on landing.
A custom ramp was fabricated from steel to support a floating platform.
