The good folks at Australian Premium shoe brand Feit were kind enough to send some shoes my way to roadtest, so I thought I would showcase the fantastic Dsrt Kudu Suede Cloud in this short video featurette, the first in my 'Roadtest' series.
The shoe isn't cheap, coming in at just under $400 (Aus), but what you get for that price is something with premium materials made with precision, care and hand crafting so if you can stretch to the cost, you will be getting your hands on a piece of considered design that I am very impressed with.
With the shoes come cork insoles and a Feit bag, but the star of the show is the shoe itself which I rate extremely highly for style, value and comfort; the 3 categories my Roadtest's will consider.

As a street and fashion photographer, lugging around gear while looking good is no easy feat, which is why I love the brand Crumpler!
Specialising in an array of bags, luggage, and accessories all designed to combine style with practicality, they are my brand of choice for helping me get from A to B, no matter what I'm lugging around.
They were kind enough to send me a few items to roadtest, and after getting to grips with each of them they all get the thunmbs up from me, and have all become a part of my everyday life no matter what cameras or kit I need to have with me.
Here you can see The Considerable Embarrassment Messenger bag, which I use every day for cameras, computers and more. Squid, a fantastic pocket sized pouch that opens up into a backpack, useful for emergencies! No matter what camera I am using, it is likely to be kitted out with the fantastic Convenient Disgrace shoulder strap, and lastly, the cute Carrot case is always at hand to carry pens, memory cards and accessories I need.
These items all get a glowing thumbs up from me, so check out Crumpler now, they're a great brand with plenty for everyone!
As a a HUGE football fan, I was very excited to see the world game become local recently with the inaugural Sydney 'Local FC' tournament. The football loving collective shares an appreciation of the core values of the beautiful game, and last weekend they took to the pitch to show their skills with the first ever tournament in Redfern, Sydney. A number of stylish teams were present from the likes of Vanishing Elephant, Nike, Havianas (and more) and needless to say the skills on the pitch, and the footwear on display was equally stylish.
A big thanks to Huw for the invite, and congrats to Team Vanishing Elephant for being crowned the winners at the final whistle.
I put together this short video of the day, and thanks to Tamron and Lensbaby for the loan of some great new kit to play around with.

When looking at the cornerstones of street style and contemporary fashion everyone knows that having great denim is vital to any wardrobe.
I've worked with a few fantastic denim brands since starting IDYSM, and was delighted to recently be invited to take part in the exclusive G Star RAW Tailored Atelier service.
The service is available in stores in Osaka, Hong Kong and Sydney (with the US to follow) and allows you the chance to take the classic G Star 3301 silhouette and have it tailored to your fit and look.
I was lucky enough to be invited to get my own pair made up, and you can share in the experience with this video.
A big thanks to G Star, and enjoy!
