This Trailer was created for the Media Project 2 Presentation in July 2012 @ Campus Dieburg, h_da. The semesters task "Create an interactive simulation" was answered by us with this First Aid Trainer which is an Application for IPhone, IPad and Computer to practice First Aid measures in accident scenarios under the influence of stress. [The 'strange' format was created to make it fit perfectly on the IPad as this was the background of the presentation slide]

This teaser was created for the final presentation of the Digital Media Elective "Introduction to Objective-C using the example of a mobile application" @ Hochschule Darmstadt.
The idea was to develop fun apps which can but need not to be embedded in a Master App which will be used during the City Rallye of this(2012) year's Orientation Week @ Campus Dieburg. The Make A Face App stands alone though.
My team consisted of Marisa Wollner and me. Thanks to the lecturers Jonas, Heiko und Garrit

In dem Projekt "Gedankendreher" entsteht ein kleines generatives Kunstwerk, gezeichnet mit Gedanken. Der Teilnehmer setzt sich ein wireless EEG Gerät auf und schon beginnt die Apparatur zu zeichnen. Die Gehirnströme werden analysiert, wodurch Aufmerksamkeit und Entspannung in analoger Form visualisiert werden können. Um dem Viereck des Bildschirms zu entfliehen, wurde eine mechanische Visualisierung mit Filzstiften gewählt.

A small project exploring the possibilities of natural user interfaces in connection with real time visualisations.
The visuals are controlled with an iPad over WiFi, so the user is free to move about the room, while controlling the projection. The visualisation is realized with VVVV and controlled via an iPad application, which was written in Action Script 3 (Flash) and packaged with Adobe Air. The app sends OSC data as XML to a Java Server (flosc) which sends the OSC data over the UDP to VVVV.
This data flow was necessary, because Flash on the iPad doesn't support UDP communication (yet).

The approach we took with grid surfer is an old school arcade game inspired by cyber punk look of tron but including todays technology, such as the Wii Balance Board as input device and top notch stereoscopic images.
The whole project was built with the Unity 3D engine and custom graphics out of cinema 4D. The soundtrack is originally composed for a spacial sound experience.
About the team:
The team consists out of Dominik Braun, Daniel Dünchem, Sebastian Haase, and Jannicke Ostoike. 4 Master students (Media Direction) at the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt.
