iPhone Cinema

Over the weekend I have tried out what you can do with the IP5 regarding HDR images. So I searched a bit around in the Apple´s App Store. And probably the best piece I´ve found for this is "ProHDR". Then I headed out for some quick shots. This app is quite easy to use and takes 2 images with different exposures and combines them together automatically. I was searching for an App with real bracketing but it seems that surely would be a great deal too much good fortune - I found nothing appropriate.

But Ok, it´s still a little smartphone and this app makes a pretty good job - and, almost more important, it makes fun. Of course, with some downsides: the time between the shots is simply too long for any kind of movement. Moving people, animals, leaves in the wind... etc. will appear quite unsharp or with some real ghosting. Nevertheless, I´m pleased with the results. And if I would have been using any kind of tripod it would be even better...
