As the train prepared to negotiate the points and branch off towards L.T.T., it was rudely stopped in its tracks by some chain-pulling imbecile. However, this gave Sundar'nut' and myself an opportunity to examine the rake.

A terrific run from Itarsi was rudely interrupted by an agonizing 15-minute delay at Bhusaval outer, after which we leisurely pulled into the station. After a 13-minute halt, we were off towards Jalgaon.

Two WCAM3-hauled trains rushing through Vidyavihar! First is the Bangalore-Mumbai Exp. via Miraj - predecessor of Chalukya Exp. Second is the Dadar-Guwahati Exp. - it now departs from L.T.T.

One of the many crossings we got to 'enjoy' during our trip from Mailani to Aishbagh. This one is at Razaganj where we waited for the 52238 Aishbagh-Pilibhit Pass. to show up. I was somewhat bemused on seeing the train bursting at its seams with morning commuters. And then I was treated to some acrobatics by a couple of roof-top travelers :-) The video ends with a quick conversation with one of the local lads.

We slowed down on our approach to Raigarh. After crossing the Kelo river, we negotiated a rather sharp curve - this gave me another opportunity to examine the loco and rake. For some inexplicable reason, we were switched onto the loop line even though the main line seemed all clear! After crossing the station, we were greeted by a WAG9-headed BCNA train. Raigarh is home to the world's largest sponge iron and steel plant owned by Jindal Steel…
