The Women Entrepreneurs Festival was held for the first time at ITP at the end of January 2011. The goal of the festival was to sow the seeds for a community of women entrepreneurs in NYC, to expose women who have not yet taken the entrepreneurial leap, the pre-entrepreneurs, to women who have. The Festival was chaired by Nancy Hechinger, Diana Rhoten and Joanne Wilson. The video footage was taped by a team of volunteers: Patricia Adler, Jennifer Ho, Tiffany Ho, Dave Miller, Emily Ryan, Miriam Simun. Patricia and Miriam conducted the interviews. Nisma Zaman compiled and edited all of the footage and created this Vimeo Channel. Photographers at the event included: Tom Igoe, Abby Goldberg and Benedetta Piantella Simeonidis.
