I am filming these sequences while visiting Trancoso, Bahia in Brazil.
When I arrived in Trancoso,
I befriended these wonderful musicians that you will hear and see. We would meet every evening under the black blue sky in the square of Trancoso, and whilst' waiting for other minstrels to wander in, we would eat Moqueca Baiana and down a few cold beers under the starry sky. Once the madrugada would commence off we would go, to one and than another musician's cabana in the hills or on the beach, and there we played music all night long until the dawn.
When I am playing the Djimbe, under my 'nom de plume' Jaca Pwal Adamu, one of the other musicians takes the camera and films ,,,
and so it went on for several weeks.
