April 24th 2011, Jeff Johnson set out to walk 4971kilometers in 162 days across Australia, from Byron Bay , the most easterly point to Steep Point, the most westerly point.
Brian 'Bear' Mooney was his only support, driving his Toyota Landcruiser a massive 30klms a day to make sure that Jeff had everything he needed to achieve this massive goal. NETS was the recipient of the funds that were raised and the awareness of the service they offer.

I have heard of the amazing wildflowers in WA, but to see thme is something else.

A self-confessed 'bushie' of no fixed abode, I decided almost on a whim to walk across Australia in 2007, south to north, to raise funds for charity. jeffswalk.com.
Now, in 2011, I am 70 years old and I am off again, this time, east to west, Byron Bay, NSW to Steep Point in West Australia. jeffswalk2.com
