Started as an ambitious college class project lead by filmmakers Jeff Parkin and Jared Cardon of Tinder Transmedia, The Book of Jer3miah is a groundbreaking supernatural thriller web series that has engaged viewers around the world and attracted the attention of world-class journalists. The New York Times praised it as “a huge leap forward in transmedia…with online collaboration between fans so fervent that you don’t have to be anywhere near to be part of the action.”

Produced entirely in Provo, UT, the successful first season of the series launched in February 2009 and consists of 20 short episodes, for a total running time of two hours. Additionally, The Book of Jer3miah narrative extends into cyberspace with an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) featuring virtual and real-life scavenger hunts, viral videos, social networks, and enough clue-hunting to excite the most seasoned investigator.

This genre-bending web series deftly mixes conspiracy and spirituality, romance and comedy, and unlike most programming on the web, The Book of Jer3miah is family-friendly entertainment. With web entertainment becoming increasingly edgy, this rare family-friendly series has continued to gain critical acclaim, including accolades from the New York Times, NewTeeVee.com, The Official Best of Fest, The W3 Awards and most notably, the 2010 Webby Awards.

With the cliffhanger ending of season one, Jeff Parkin and Jared Cardon are currently in development of a second season, which is projected to be released in 2011.
