Downtown Los Angeles' Grand Avenue is a popular filming location. The street's unique architecture—which creates an Upper Grand and a Lower Grand—provides a prime setting for everything from car commercials for Audi, Mitsubishi, and Hyundai to such top films as "The Soloist" and "The Dark Knight Rises." Jetset Extra met up with Aaron Ruby, camera staff assistant for the L.A. unit of "The Dark Knight Rises," at the corner of Grand Avenue and Third Street to talk about how the location served as a prime backdrop for the major summer blockbuster.

Join Jetset Extra as it tracks the journey from olive to olive oil—a staple in Italian cuisine—to its source: La Bilaia, an olive orchard in Lavagna, Italy. From there, we travel to Cooperativa Agricola Lavagnina, where the olives are turned into oil. We then get a glimpse of Recco Focacceria in Lavagna, Portivene Un Mare di Sapori in Portovenere, and Revello Focacceria in Camogli—fabulous restaurants where olive oil is an essential ingredient in many dishes.
