  2. This video is a remake of The Dark Knight Rises trailer. Directed and Edited by Jack Jardin. ©WHS Media 2012 Starring Matt Lynch, Scott Mcmanus, Shamus O'brien, Monica Norris, Graydon DeCamp, Steven Kane, Colin Neville, and Jerry Cronin. I chose to do this trailer because it's one of my favorite types of projects to do. I'm a huge movie fan, and an especially strong supporter of Christopher Nolan. The Dark Knight franchise has been my favorite series of movies ever, and I wanted to re create the movie magic for my own. I had so much fun re creating the trailer for Nolan's "Inception," so I wanted to make something again I knew people would love and appreciate. For this video, I went all out. I bought costumes, props, and took numerous trips to Boston to get the filming done, and it all paid off. Thank you to everyone that helped.

    Stay classy.

  3. An editorial on what really grinds my gears: Rami Audi's tweets. This video will help inform people how to use Twitter, and warn them of some of the things Twitter has to offer. I chose to do this because I felt people would be able to relate, and agree on how distracting he can be. I felt the b roll of Rami specifically worked for the video because we got to hear them in his voice, and experience first hand the tweets we're dealing with. I hope people are enjoying it, and thank you to Rami, for accepting it as a joke and allowing me to send this to friends.

    Peace up, A town down.

  4. This is a video for Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. The prompt for the video was to create a self-introductory video essay no more than two minutes in length. The video had to visually highlight something about myself, my personality, my interests, etc. that is not related to film. The only rule is that I couldn't appear in the video in any way (including any photographs), so I had to be creative. They were primarily looking for my strengths at conveying a story visually and for evidence of my creativity rather than my technical abilities. I felt this video accurately portrayed what I like, and the narration described who I am as a person. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Special thanks to Alex Fallah (actor portrayal), and everyone else involved. Especially Steven and Ms. Misuta, who helped push me to get everything done and apply, Mrs. G who helped me get everything edited and done, and Yenish, for staying in VP late at night with me.

  5. Our emotion was Adrenaline/Excited/Anxious. Really just any emotion categorized under excitement and anticipation. In order to convey that emotion, Yenish and I used multiple close ups of his fingers twitching, and his legs shaking in an antsy way. We shot multiple extreme close ups to observe, in great detail, everything he was wearing, and add to the dramatically close video as a whole. Our music was meant to add to the emotion and create a build up...it is supposed to get the audience worked up and ready to go. Ready to play. Full of adrenaline!

I'm a senior at Westwood High School in my third year of Video Production. I enjoy making videos because I love having an idea, and bringing it to life with a camera. Movies offer a way to tell anyone’s story. Familiar, unfamiliar. Fantasy or real. The medium provides an unparalleled way to look at any event and convey it through every perspective. That’s what pulls me in the most: giving voice to someone else’s narrative or using my own to push an audience to see things in a new way. My goal in life is to use the power of film to make a difference. To express myself to the point where I inspire other people to do the same

Favorite Films:
The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, The Departed, Friday Night Lights, Harry Potter yrs 1-7, Superbad, Step Brothers
