This is a method to get a delicious cup of coffee from a very cheap and common brewer. This is not a method for using it to make espresso. It could be used in different ways - this is just a way that produces a very sweet, clean and strong cup.
The French Press/Press Pot/Plunger Pot/Cafetiere is by far the best coffee brewer you can buy when it comes to the ratio of price and coffee quality.
The press works well with just about any style of coffee. The one problem we always had was the sludge. Thanks to a technique passed around online from the wise Scandinavians, you can now make a better press at home!
