6-person Outrigger canoe race off the california coast at Ventura Harbor. This a race put on By Southern California Outrigger Racing Association, and Hokuloa Outrigger Canoe Team.
The race is a triangle course starting at the Harbor mouth. First heading Northwest up the coast. From there turning out to sea. The second turn was about 40 min for first place lanakila. The final turn is a red harbor marker . The footage was shot from the water by myself in an Epic housing with an HV30 and a .65 wide lens. Thanks to Billy Whitford droping me off at each of the three turns. There is only footage of the mens race this time. I do not know the official results for this race. Check the SCORA site for results, and how to find a club in your area.

Ps I did shoot some of the Women's race but the footage is kind of.... well no so good. I used a wide lens for the mens race witch helps a lot when you are bobbing around in the ocean. There is more to come soon.
