Kdenlive is an open source video editor for GNU/Linux, which supports various formats including DV, HDV and AVCHD (feedback needed). It is very intuitive and powerfull. Kdenlive relies on MLT framework, a video solution designed for telebroadcasting, and ffmpeg video and audio codecs.

Kdenlive is a nice community of developers, translators, software testers and end-users. We plan to release a series of tutorials and screencasts about Kdenlive.
