I've had the urge to do a kinetic type piece for a while and felt the emotion of this scene from "Taxi Driver" would be perfect for that medium. It is the result of roughly 30 hours of work in After Effects CS5, I learned countless techniques in the process.
I only hope it does the film justice, I was unsure of borrowing such a classic monologue for fear of disrespecting the original film.
