Light Trails

On display at the Austin Museum of Art from May 24th - August 15, 2010

Created for artist Sunyong Chung as inspiration for a large paper torus.

The image on the left is of subjects making spirals with glow sticks. Some parts were shot at 60 fps with a slow shutter. Trailers added in post.

The image on the right is a frame by frame composite of the subjects as they progress through time. Composite created using after effects and over 8000 layers.
