It doesn't get much cooler than having your wedding at sunset on the beautiful SC marshes and coastline where they filmed Forest Gump, G.I. Jane and Prince of Tides! It also doesn't get much cooler for us to be present not only at a wedding where WE are treated as their friends and family, but to witness a ceremony and celebration that SCREAMS....Love. Everyone was a part of this day for Andy & Paige, (who have nicknames of their own - see: toasts in film). It was refreshing to see the excitement from everyone, ESPECIALLY in the toasts. Having toasts read and spoken from the heart like you'll see in this wedding film, are one of the most VALUABLE reasons to get a wedding film. Loved that we captured these fleeting words. Mary Elizabeth and Gabe, along with their families, put together the best ingredients Wilmington had to offer, to create a quintessential, southern event people will be talking about for years. But even more importantly, after hearing their story through the perspective of their friends and family’s toasts, it’s evident that Mary Elizabeth and Gabe are the perfect fit, and will be falling for each other more and more as the years go on.
Arguably one of our most favorite weddings, this day had all the elements for an amazing celebration. You can check out the all-star vendors below, but having a surprise gospel choir perform during the ceremony, an epic first look on the waterway, desserts fit for a heavenly banquet, and one of the best party bands in the country…made for one of the best weddings any one present has experienced.

Not sure I have seen a more beautiful place than this town, Ravello. I promise you, the colors, the mountain ranges, the "character" and most importantly the people in this film are not fake. Zach and I knew we would be filming Ericka & K.C's wedding for about a year. Ericka follows Style Me Pretty, one of the best places for brides to find unique ideas for their stylish wedding. We are fortunate to be on SMP's short list for event filmmakers that do destination weddings. Smiles, friendship, community, and genuine companionship with a promise made in front of hundreds of people. This wedding was fun for me to film simply because I felt I was a part of something bigger than could be seen. Throw into the mix an intimate ceremony setting at the top of the hill overlooking the Biltmore Estate, an amazing band that is arguably one of the most entertaining and talented on the east coast, and an amazing fireworks send off, and you have a winner. We here at Life Stage Films like an interesting love story. Jaclyn and Johnny actually BOTH grew up here in NC (Greensboro). But actually met by being set up on a date by a mutual friend nearly 3,000 miles away in Redondo Beach, CA where they both work. The rest is history, as you can tell from this heartfelt wedding film.
