We produced these spot for our client mGive, here in Denver. Turnaround was blistering, but we pulled it off. We found out about the potential of the spot happening on Tuesday, not confirmed until Tuesday at 7:30, and we shot the next day, and cut that night to get the spots ready for the Grammys on Sunday. Shot with Chris Walsh and Chris Randour. Julie Bassignani helped up out with makeup and script sup. We shot at Nick De Sciose's studio in Denver, which was an absolute pleasure. Shot on the GH1 using a 50mm 1.4 FD and a 135mm 2.5 FD. Recorded audio on a Zoom via a Sennheiser G2.

This spot features Charley, the Director of mGive. I love the look of the 50mm up close like this. This is about 1 - 1.5 feet from the subject.
We just shot this spot last weekend at Winter Park resort, in Colorado. The NSCD is a non-profit, and we did this PSA pro bono for them. The GH1 was great for shooting at the resort. It's low profile really helped us shoot without any complications, especially on the ski lift. Shot with just the kit lens and an ND9 filter, but wouldn't you know, I got my Canon FD's in the next Monday. I really wish I'd had them for this.
I animated this spot for Free Speech TV (freespeech.org), promoting their upcoming Progressive Action Calendar. Animation done in After Effects CS3 and elements built in Illustrator CS3. Also produced similar on-air customizable templates for their graphics use during national broadcasts.
Just think about it… What if you were trapped under something heavy and the mouse was out of your reach? Scary, right? That's exactly why we have these keyboard shortcuts so you can still use Vimeo until the help arrives.
