20 days ago I had my stupid crash in which I had torn my MCL totally. In Literature you find the advice to not ski for at least six weeks. Yes, I will do that, from June to August ;). But now, it´s time for doing some special rehab training. Watch the clip!

Day number 19 of skiing in endless powder in 2012. no time for recovering, not necessary in paradise…
19 times we thought that we just had our best day in our life. 19 times we got thaught better, fortunately :). Today a short clip of my first ride over the huge Stiegl Logo, not really fluently, next time it will work better…
After the heaviest Snow falls I ever experienced in Austria, Sepp Schmoelzl and me went out to enjoy this Winter Wonderland. Skiing some steep north faced couloirs, nice tree sections, finding the biggest Crack in a Cornice ever and finally skiing down a big face in nice Light.
Once again I used the Drift Helmet cam, which obviously has better quality than the Gopro, You can compare the quality of both in the embeeded Video.

I have been to Japan, Alaska, Chile, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Canada and California for skiing.
But, the best place to ski in the world is at home. Today we finally had the BIG DEEEP POW Day! I have absolutely never skied in conditions like today, in super steep forest terrain in tons of Snow. It was dangerous, of course. So we had to be very careful to not get caught by the major sluff released by our own turns. It worked well, almost ;) Lost…
Avalanches are indeed something, that we are able to live without.
However, there exists a form of avalanches, which has despite their generally undisputed uselessness, at least something positive. Namely the maintenance of respect for the power of nature.
