A little information on Jellyfish Lake...
Jellyfish Lake is located in Palau. Thousands of years ago these jellyfish became trapped in a natural basin on the island when the ocean receded. Over time they evolved into a new species that lost their stinging ability.

With global-warming, over-fishing and pollution, our seas are in a real state of crisis these days. I hope this film reminds people of the magnificent beauty within our ocean and the importance of protecting it. The footage was shot on dives made in Bonaire and Palau during 2011. Thank you for watching.

Dimakya Island, located in the northern Palawan region of the Philippines is a very beautiful part of the world. The reef around the island is home to many turtles, fish, and a beautiful school of jack. Believe it or not, most of this footage was shot on one dive!
While I was diving, on occasion, I would heard a loud crack underwater and all the fish would flinch. I was later told that the noise I heard was illegal dynamite fishing off some nearby islands. I hope this video reminds people of the importance of protecting our reefs and the need to promote sustainable fishing practices.
