T&C held it's annual grom surf contest at Waikiki this past weekend. It's a great event where kids up to 12 years old can compete in a fun contest. To make sure new kids have chance to enjoy, kids who do HSA or NSSA are not allowed in this event. Which mean there are tons of new faces!

Every once in a while, Makapu'u offers some fun waves on Oahu. When town is small and we know there are some wind swells, we take trips to the East side. Only draw back is that you cannot surf there when lifeguards are around, so we need to go there in the morning or after 5pm.

HSA (Hawaii Surfing Association) had it's State Championships at Ala Moana Bowls this past week. Surfers who qualified from every island were all here on Oahu to compete in this special event.
There was a super fun size swell and kids were killing it out there. it's amazing how kids get better at surfing every time i see them.
