The mounting for the skidfin on the U-37 Miss Peters & May failed entering the Roostertail turn, sending JW Myers hurtling towards the Unlimited pits. JW's split-second reaction saved lives in the pits as he turned his hydroplane to the right, demolishing the hydroplane on the seawall in front of the Roostertail Club. Crash occurs at 7:44 in this clip.
